House Of The Sun #211GS

This is truly a great place to stay for a wonderful vacation. The beach is phenomenal. The layout of the condo is perfect. You have everything as if you where at home. It is very clean and nicely updated.The managers our very pleasant, professional and always there to help and answer questions.There are restaurants, gift shop and a grocery in walking distance. We love it here. We just had our 10th trip to 211GS and have 2021 booked.

Had a great time at House of the Sun.Lots of good places to eat within walking distance,and weather was fantastic,will definitely be going back again for vacation again.

Unit 211 was very comfortable and well maintained. We would have liked a few beach towels to have been provided since we fly in with limited luggage space.

Excellent location. Condominium clean and safe for family with small children . We definitely recommend to family and friends

My only concern problem was the little young girls and boys running up and down the hallway and screaming early morning and late night. Also slamming doors. Not very relaxing! The pool was taken over with weekend visitors. No courtesy! We have been coming here for many years and love the area, beach rentals of umbrella condo . Just seems to be getting not so much a relaxing time.

The 2 Bedroom Rental was convenient to so many things. Location was great. Rental was comfortable, easy access to beach, nice pool and pickleball/tennis area.

New place for us this year and quite impressed. Loved the facilities, pool could be larger, but adequate and well maintained. Enjoyed sitting under the palm trees and having a more expansive view of the ocean and the beautiful beach. Condo clean and fresh and great to have laundry facilities in the unit. Turtles resturant quite lovely, free trolley rides to the village and back, and the Crystal sand sculpting fabulous. Relaxed and well satisfied. Detwilders farm mkt on CLARK Road great destination for quite an expansive produce selection, fresh meats and fish, sandwiches and bakery superb! Most relaxing three week vacation ever in the thirty something years we've been coming to Siesta Key beach!

My family and I had a great stay over fall break. Our only recommendations are to enforce a no smoking policy at the pool areas especially when kids are present and with the room had a few more household items.

We had a fantastic time. This is was out 15th year at house of the sun. The apt was very nice and it had everything you might need. The view is not that good to be honest and the bed sheets are horrible!!!! They felt like sand paper to all 4 of us. The comforter in the master in my opinion should be changed to a quilt like the other rooms. Also, the water was either HOT or warm but we couldn’t get cold water in the shower. Hopefully the bedspread and sheets will get an upgrade because we would definitely like to book that same apt.

I didnt want to leave! This place was great! We enjoyed it all... we’ll be back

Our 4th time at House of the Sun. Stayed in #211GS. Front office very accommodating and helpful.
The property, (Condo, parking, pool, grounds, etc.) very clean and well maintained. The Beach Attendant a good upgrade to everyone just setting up chairs wherever on the beach. This Attendant is a good upgrade.
Felt safe and secure while on House of the Sun property.
Highly recommend this place.

House of the Sun is always our "go to" for relaxing and it almost never disappoints. If there are any issues, the staff takes care of them almost immediately. They are professional, but very personable and easy to work with. My favorite vacation spot.

Condo was very spacious and clean. It’s a great location across from some restaurants and night time fun, plus being directly on the beach.

Restaurant were very close and very good. Especially Captians Kurts. Was sad to see the Grocery Store was sold. Management provided great service. 211 only had one issue the mattress in the master bedroom was very lumpy. I love the new process for the beach chairs and umberellas. Only complaint was the children at the pool, early teen boys. Disrespctful and running and jumping in the pool. They broke every rule you have posted. I blame their parents. All said we love House of the Sun.

Being limited to 2 chairs on the beach when the condo holds 4 people is absolutely ridiculous. We pay ALOT of money to stay there and to have to pay extra for chairs is really disappointing. It seems that it is all about making more money. There were plenty of extra empty chairs even during a busy spring break week. I have been staying at house of the sun for 15 years and I will probably find a different condo due to this chair situation. Absolutely ridiculous!

We really enjoyed our quiet condo at House of the Sun. The location was great and within walking distance to good food and entertainment. Amenities were good but would of like to have had beach towels available to us. Also plastic drink ware would have been helpful to take to the beach. But I would definitely recommend the condo and enjoy returning at another time!!

While we once again had a very nice stay at the House of the Sun, we feel, that HoS should have mentioned to prospective renters about the very loud construction site practically next door; which began as early as 6:30 am. This disturbance was also mentioned by some unit owners as well.

It was a great vacation. The rental needs a few upgrades such as toilets that do not need constant maintenance to fill properly. Overall we love House of The Sun and may actually look to purchase a unit in the future. Just felt this unit needed more maintenance attention than what was given by the owners.

Hotel was nice,on beach, clean etc. Dishwasher did not work it ran but never cleaned dishes or used soap. Dirty dishes in cabinets. Most must have thought clean. All else was good.

Office staff is not very friendly and seems crabby when providing help either by phone or in person. In fact both Allison and Justin appear downright rude. People are paying a lot of money to stay at House of the Sun and it would be nice if we were greeted in a friendly professional manner.
Hallways and outside stairway were dirty.
Checkout should be 11:00 not 10:00.

We love the House of Sun, it’s a great location. Our unit 211 was confortable and spacious. We had a few minor things that needed attention but it was quickly resolved. The manager Justin is professional and helpful. We recommend the place. We had a great time.

The beach is awesome! we love the area and everything is so close stores, restraunts, attractions and so much more. The staff is always available and ready to be of good customer service. I have recommended this property to many of my family and friends.

We love staying at House of Sun! Gorgeous sand, roomy condo, perfect location to walking to local eats. Covered parking and multiple sun decks. What else can you ask for? Only more vacation time so we can visit more often.
