I hesitate to give a review because I love the House of the Sun and an honest review will just make it that much harder for me to extend further into February in the future.

beautiful unit#212, thrilled it didn't incur the amount of damage from the hurricanes , best beach in the world. sad the pool wasn't up and running, but understood why. it will be better than ever. Allison, at the desk, was awesome.

We love Siesta Key Beach and staying at the House of Sun!!! We also liked the new policy of no canopies blocking the view and the rental agreement for the umbrella and chairs was very convenient and fairly priced. Our unit was clean and equipped with everything that was needed for the week. We enjoyed our stay very much at this beautiful beach!

Third visit to HOTS in a year, and third different unit. Never a bad day... weather, facility, beach, personnel are all awesome. Great places to eat within walking distance. Felt like home. Can't wait to come back.

My experience was as expected. The place was clean and the staff is very helpful. We will be going back for a 4th time next year.

Excellent rental process.
The height of the rented umbrellas on the first line of the beach obstructs the view of the sea.
The shelters are higher and allow views towards the horizon.
JIM's surveillance and protection of guests on the beach is excellent

We were so happy with condo 212. The beach theme, the location everything was perfect for us. The beach was one of the most beautiful we had ever seen. It is conveniently located near restaurants.
Anytime we had questions the staff couldn't of been nicer. Our vacation at The House of Sun was just what we wanted, a week to relax and enjoy the beach! We will definitely be back.

Location was great. Condo itself was a bit rundown and needed to be updated. Certain lights didn’t work, closet door broken, poor water pressure in master bath sink. Condo was also missing small things such as dish soap, sufficient number of wash cloths (we only had 3 for the whole week for two people). We’ve stayed in a different condo at HOS that was great. We were a bit disappointed in this particular condo.

The unit was as advertised, good view, clean, neat and updated. Furnishings were also updated.
The grounds were well maintained.
The property management personnel were extremely helpful

Would like for the property to go back to allowing canopies. It’s harder to see the ocean from the back with the umbrellas because they sit much lower.

Unit has everything you would expect in a well furnished unit. Lower unit with a somewhat limited view which was still good enough for us. Most of our time during the day was spent on the awesome Beach.

Great stay in room 212 at House of the Sun. The 2 bedroom was spacious, clean, and had all needed amenities. Many updates throughout. Great location for the condo. Beautiful beachfront. A lot of restaurants and shops within walking. Only downfall was a rude security officer the first night. Otherwise, wonderful stay and would definitely stay again!

We stayed for 2 weeks 3/19 -4/2 in 212 GV
The unit was very clean and the location is perfect.
The 2nd week with different set of spring breakers became very noisy and the kids were using shopping carts as toys. Other than that is was an amazing 2 weeks. Wish they didn’t charge for a 2nd car seems like it should be included as there is space for 2 cars per unit and you should be able to get 4 beach chairs since your unit sleeps 4-6 people, for the price you pay for these rentals you should have to pay extra for those things.

The unit we rented at House of Sun was the perfect location. Right on the beach with beautiful sunset views off the balcony. Nearby restaurants and shopping were very convenient. I would rent there again.

We had a wonderful stay in Room 212 at House of the Sun. Room has been recently upgraded. Kitchen was nicely equipped. Slept wonderfully in the extra large bedroom. Restaurants, shops and grocery store within walking distance. Beautiful view of the #1 beach.

We have stayed in House of the Sun several times. Never fails to deliver. Unit 212 GV was clean, beach theme throughout..

Condo was updated, very clean, & well furnished kitchen!! Wish we could have stayed longer. Beds are very comfortable!! Great TVs!! Allison, office staff, was great!! Looking forward to my next trip.

This place was extremely clean, well taken care of, & newly renovated. The decor was perfect & very welcoming. I would highly recommend this rental & will definitely rent it again next time our family is visiting Siesta Key.
