We've stayed here a few times before and that is why we keep coming back. This time,on the phone and at check in the person was professional but not friendly. I guess he didn't have to be. Last time, they went out of their way to make you feel welcome, this time, not so much. The cleaning staff when we encountered them were very nice though. Place is in a perfect location, they let you stay less than a full week if they have the rooms (we stayed 9 nights). Know that if you have more than one car, they will charge you 20/day extra. We missed reading that in the reservation so we were caught off guard.

the property was very nice with updated details throughout. The manager and staff were friendly and helpful. The beach and SK restaurants were great.

Always a great time at house of the sun. Couldn’t imagine a better place to vacation.

We loved our unit. It was clean, close to the beach, nice pool and walking distance to many places. Our friends were staying at the Crescent and it was nice b/c we were so close to their location without paying $1000 more.

Stayed for a week and our rental was gorgeous inside. Although it stocked there are no spices for cooking, limited towels, and Ac unit is controlled with a sign stating if set below, you’ll loose your deposit. You’re only allowed one vehicle so if traveling with several, it’s 20.00 a day for extra parking.
The walls are thin so you can hear everything. Unfortunately for us the people above us ran around their place all night, drunk people slamming around in the hallway, and someone burnt something in their apartment it took hours to clear out the smell of burnt plastic.

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. Rides on the trolly and once a golf cart got us to distant places. We had the pick of many restaurants and enjoyed those immensely.

We stayed at this suite for a family long awaited vacation. It was absolutely perfect. The suite is clean, quiet, fully equipped and provides comfortable bedding. It’s very well located, surrounded by various restaurants and stores. We definitely will rent it again when travelling to Siesta key.

ALWAYS SATISFIED WITH HOUSE OF THE SUN- EVERYTHING IS EASY, LOCATION IS GREAT AND ROOM WAS CLEAN. ONLY SMALL ISSUE IS THERE ARE USUALLY NO BEACH CHAIRS AVAILABLE- UNLESS YOU GO OUT AT THE SAME TIME THE CHAIRS ARE UNLOCKED, YOU CAN'T GET ONE BECAUSE PEOPLE TAKE FAR MORE THAN THEY SHOULD

Very disappointed this trip. Had to get up at 6am to get a beach lounge chair thanks to Sammy's. Children running and jumping in pool, parents throwing the kids in pool, toy all over pools area. If you did not rent a canopy or umbrella you were out of luck to enjoy view of the beach and ocean. Our room was very outdated. The furniture was so torn and worn.

The mattress in master bedroom uncomfortable. The lighting in the master bathroom was too dark, hard to put on makeup.

Condo is worn, but was okay for a week. Furnishings need updating. Kitchen was very nice and well supplied.
