Awesome as usual

Our unit needs an update, very dated especially the bathroom. It's not cheap to stay there and the beds and bedding was also uncomfortable. Other basic necessities were missing for example iron, blow dryer, bottle opener.

Great location, spacious condo, nice and quiet. Would have liked more than one tea towel and cloth, a beach towel would have been good, and hand dish detergent. Overall, very comfortable and staff were very nice!

We've been going to Siesta Key for years and must say from what I saw it's time to invest a little money and update. Our Room 401 was not just outdated but there were visible stains on the ceiling and other walls. The TVs don't have High Def which is pretty much a standard in 2024 and the TVs in the room were at most 20 inches so you can barely watch TV when trying to unwind.

This wasn't just my room but had friends and can say it was pretty consistent across the board.

There are new properties being developed and can find better accommodations elsewhere. I don't have high expectations but it felt like walking into the 1980's when you enter the room.

We enjoyed the location and the unit was clean and just what we were looking for!

We stayed at House of the Sun in October. Condo 401GS was clean, but is definitely in need of more updating. It would be nice if there were some throw pillows on the couch and an area rug on the tile floor in the living area.

Great vacation

The location was awesome! Our expericence was vry good. I would recommend the condo to have some type of plastic containers for leftovers, more coffee cups and wine glasses, plastic bags and beach towels. When you fly you cannot pack these items.

Spent a week at this rental. Was a very good experience. When we showed up a few things broken but within a few hours (and no impact to us) the items were fixed. The unit is decorated very nicely and was just an elevator ride and not many steps to pool and from there onto beach. Walking distance to many restaurants/cafes and even a few shops. Sometimes the traffic busy when trying to drive somewhere but did mostly walking so not a real issue to us. The unit is close to the road and the larger bedroom closest to street does get some noise in evenings from across the street but not enough to affect my sleep.

No problems with #401 except it sure could use a coffee table in front of the sofa.Also the sliding glass door could use some oiling, as it squeals everytine it is opened.
also, thew shower handle pulls out really hard. We also had problems with using our keys in some of the outside doors. Other residensts complained about the same problem.

Unit 401 was very clean and comfortable . Kitchen had the basic needs covered . Location is excellent , even though is all the way back , you can still enjoy an ocean view from balcony. As for the House of the Sun in general, always a good place , well kept and safe . We will be back!
