Been coming down to the House off and on for 22 years, as usual everything was perfect. And that’s why we been coming down since 1998.

My second time on the property, great staff personal. Very safe environment. Beautiful beach.

We had a fabulous stay at the condo this year. Owners updated the master mattress, felt so much more comfortable!Thank you. Everything else was about the same with previous up dates.
Beach was amazing ! Sammy’s Beach rental staff do a great job. The new grills and all the chairs around pool area was a nice update as well.

We booked for next year cannot wait !!

we have been coming to House of the Sun for many years and always enjoy the beach and gulf! This unit was OK, but needs both bathrooms to be updated. Tiles were moldy , as were the ones around the tub. The shower head in the small bathroom did not work well. Needs replacing. Also the light fixture in the dining area is not aligned with the table so we hit our heads on it frequently. The view was the best thing !

The House of the Sun is a wonderful place to stay. It is convenient to many nice restaurants and just about anything else you might need. The condo was clean and the management staff was always polite and very helpful. I’ve been to the House of the Sun many times; it’s so nice!

We stayed in this unit a year ago. Two changes from last year. Television service was inconsistent at best (Pea **** earned no points)

The second bedroom has a stand-up desk with a typical steno chair. You can't reach the desk top from the chair (too short)

Our experience was great. Friendly staff and rooms cleaned. I would stay here again. Great location

Nice view, short walk to the beach, chair service, good location to restaurants. Decorating was up to date and rooms were quiet.

House of Sun is a well maintained property in a prime beach location. The king size mattress in the master bedroom is in desperate need of replacement. The mattress is very lumpy. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom is very tricky to operate and there are no instructions. The ceiling fan and overhead light turned on automatically at 4 am. Bathroom tile in both bathrooms needs a deep cleaning.

This is the 4th time at the House of Sun. Never disappoints. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. Great place for our family and friends to visit and relax.

Our condo was very comfortable and met all our needs. Just wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely return again in the future!

The room has great view, with easy access to the beach, and was well furnished. The staff were very helpful and responsive.

How ever for those of you reading this and previously rented this unit , we were in for a huge surprise walking in the the door .
The new owners have completely updated the unit , washer and dryer, flat screen tvs in all rooms. New beds (comforters)new leather sofa , rug. Decorated tastefully!
Still have some painting to do .. we were so excited! The condo is gorgeous!
We rebooked and cannot wait to see the completed changes next year !!

I have stayed in this unit several times over the years. The view is excellent but the unit is in terrible need for updating. Since my negative review from last year, the only thing the owner had done is replace the washer/dryer. The furniture is garbage and the size of the TV’s are a joke. The rent has increased to over $5.0K per week. For $700+/night, I expect first class furnishings that on on par with the view. I said adios to House of the Sun after our family has been staying there since the 80’s. Allegedly, the unit has been sold and the new owner said they will replace the furnishings. That may or may not happen by next year. That is not good enough. The bathrooms and kitchen need major work too.

This was our second stay at House of Sun. It's a great location and the beach is beautiful. We stayed in 512 GF this time, and it needs a lot of updating. The master bath is really old and outdated and only one shower door works. The furniture is very old and the white leather has a few large stains. The TV's are tiny. In need of some updating.

The condo is cheaply furnished. The living room rug was filthy. The view and the rest of house of the sun was awesome-!

The unit was clean and the location was great. But had several issues with the unit. Water pressure in kitchen was bad. Sink in hallway bath drain plug was broke. The blinds in living room kept coming off when open and closing. Radio in master bedroom was broke. Great to have washer & dryer in unit. Dryer worked but took a long time to dry anything. Loved beach access, security and pool. Close to restaurants, Captain Curt's, Big Water Fish Market were our favorites. Used trolley often, Frog Hop & Eddie's limo service were all great. Had Walmart deliver food & beverages. Took trolley to Village Plaza and Frog to Drum Circle. Did not call on any maint issues, we didn't want to wait for anyone and didn't want anyone in condo when we were not there.

View is tremendous. Furniture is outdated and uncomfortable. Televisions are terrible. Countertop storage needed everywhere. Lighting in bathrooms is poor. Can’t see to shave or to put on make-up. Door on HVAC room needs to be open for A/C to work properly.

More than we expected , very relaxing with beautiful sunsets and a very good place to watch the dolphins on the top deck , also excellent restaurants with in walking distance, the place is very quite and relaxing, everything is gated so I would recommend this place if you have children along.
