The condo was clean, spacious, and had a partial gulf view. Decor was very cute. Everything you need for cooking and eating at home. Short walk to the beach. Would come back!

after travelling for many years I found the perfect spot at Siesta Key. Always clean and friendly with the best beach ever with spectacular iews.

This is my happy place, a little piece of paradise. It's a wonderful place to stay, the units are all beautiful. The staff are great. It's a five star place. So looking forward to going back next March.

We have enjoyed HOS for many years and especially loved the updated BBQ area and office. The office staff was always happy and helpful and this truly added to our visit! 208 needs to be updated - kitchen, bathrooms, and tvs. Florida is extremely hot in the summer months and many times an umbrella isn’t enough for 2 people; maybe a cool cabana rental would be a better or second option since tents are not an option.

This was our first trip to Siesta Key and we had a great time. The condo was clean and had nice amenities, the staff was great and there were plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our week in Unit 208 at the House of the Sun. The beach is beautiful and the unit is well stocked with almost anything you need. Staff were quick to respond to questions and very friendly!

Best location. Love Justin stepping out and being on the beach. Also live being able to walk to stores and eateries. Definitely needs an upgrade to bigger, smarter televisions!!

My second stay at the House of the Sun was perfect. I requested unit 208 which is bright beachy and in very good shape. The location is perfect especially being across the street from Capt. Curts! No car necessary as Trolley takes you to the Village. The staff was wonderful and Justin was especially helpful! Will book again!

Second year in a row we’ve stayed in this unit .. bright and sunny and really nice . Love the view from balcony and convenient to great local restaurants and entertainment

This is our fourth time at House of the Sun, but our first time staying in 208. And we were really happy with the unit. It’s bright and airy, very clean, all the furniture was new and we loved the balcony and views.

The amount of furniture was also kept to a minimum, making it more spacious.

We originally planned to stay at the Pink Shell in Fort Myers, but hurricane Ian changed that. We found a room at House of the Sun. The price was fair and it was so nice to walk out on the sand. This beach is the best. Prior to leaving, we rebooked for next year. We felt that this was better than the original plan.

Overall very good. The 208 condo is in need of some upgrades.

House of the Sun was recommended to me by a prior guest, as I was looking for a condo that didn’t require a weekly stay. The unit was clean and beachy for my out of town family members who enjoy Siesta Key. The office staff was friendly and helpful. We had difficulty with the door key and lock and they sent someone to assist the same day. This condominium is close to restaurants and we were also able to take advantage of the free trolley service to the village. Lm

The beach was outstanding . We loved our stay and looking forward to returning . The sunset deck was especially beautiful each night and a real extra .. met so many great folks every evening .

Overall it was a great stay. A few little minor issues that we never made a big deal of, but the condo met all our needs and is in a great location!

We stayed at HOS last year for spring break in another unit on the same floor. We absolutely LOVED our stay and is why we came back. The unit we stayed in this year just wasn't up to par for us. The unit was outdated, kitchen was lacking in some items we could have used (not critical tho), no Smart TV (so no streaming svcs such as Netflix, Hulu, etc.), no unit-specific wifi so internet was spotty at best, layout wasn't as nice in the master, main bath wasn't as nice or spacious, beds were very uncomfortable (to the point of me sleeping on couch) and a stickiness on tile floors throughout). Very loud building this year as well. Constant running in the hallways throughout the night and sounded like people above us were always moving furniture throughout the night. Although a very convenient and prefereable location for us, I don't know that we will be back.

Location was great on the beach, and walking distance to restaurants. Condo's comes with only 2 beach chairs, regardless of how many are staying in your condo. This condo had a well stocked kitchen but limited bedding and towels, NO beach towels. Master bath toilet had issues, sometimes kept running or didn't flush at all.

I love the location and Have been going to the house of the sun for over 30 years. With that being said. I would not rent this condo again. It was very nice and well decorated but it was also cheaply equipped. The TVs were very small, silverware cheap, few pans, ect. Nothing extra at all. Many condos have beach chairs, toys, games and such. when we went red tide was very bad so we spent a lot of time in the condo because my husband could not breathe.

We enjoyed walking and then resting in the lawn chairs in the shade. Loved watching the sunsets from the roof. Both guests and staff were friendly. Would definitely return.
