Check In was 3 hours late, A lot of items broke in unit. Dated, Dirty, not well equip.

The rooms were clean and well furnished. The staff was very helpful. The large decks provide a great view of the beach and sunset.

Condo was outdated, lacking basic kitchen items, had an ice machine that was broken(carbon from machine was attaching to all ice), knob on washer was broken, light in master bath broken. Couldn’t use our canopy we brought. Too many people from neighboring place(Miami,Fl ppl) taking beach chairs, using our outdoor facilities. Pool was gross.

The room was clean and comfortable

We had a wonderful time, our condo the main bedroom was way to hot, you could not turn the air down as there was a note telling us not too, it was hot in there. I would not stay in that unit again but will stay in another one

great location. Unit outdated.Noisy for the first week because of replacing ac units.Faucets were horrible. When you pay that much money for a place you expect it to be much nicer

Home away from home

House of the Sun is truly our Happy Place. The front office is always willing to accommodate our requests. Most of the Condos are up to date and relaxing. The pool and beach are awesome. The location of House of the Sun allows us to walk everywhere which we love.

I would suggest people shop around before choosing to stay at this property.

Pros: This property is on the beach with very easy access and is less than a 5-minute walk to a bunch of shops, restaurants, and activities. The beach is massive and beautiful and there were plenty of chairs, space, etc. If you don't want to be in the middle of the foot and vehicle traffic and/or hear bar music sounds until 2am, then this probably isn't a Pro nor the unit for you, but it's appealing to some. Overall, the facility itself is a little dated and could use some tech and amenity upgrades, but there are worse places. Those are the best Pros I could come up with.

Cons: The unit we were in was priced like a luxury resort, but it looked and felt like a standard spring break hotel. We didn't feel the need to complain, it was just a mix of cosmetic issues and stuff that's uncomfortable/inconvenient and should be better given the price.

We had a very nice relaxed week in Paradise aka Siesta Key Florida.
We have stayed in HOTS many times because it is clean, safe and well located right on the beach. This particular stay was up to the usual standard and we would be happy to recommend HOTS as a cool place to stay.

Very unhappy with the room. Super loud every night being straight across from the bars. Hot water wasn't working (but was fixed the next day).

The resort is highly recommende and can not be beaten for location as right on beach and bars and shops accross road along with best ice cream shop in town. Apartment very spacious with all the facilities youd need if being slightly critical a bit dated but perfectly clean and bright.

We had a wonderful week!! The House of the Sun personnel were outstanding. The beaches and pool were perfect. We rented unit #302. The unit was clean but outdated. The kitchen needed to be better stocked with pots, pans and bowls to use for cooking, etc. Other note..you are only given two beach chairs per unit after that you have to rent them. It would be nice if you have 4 guests that you got 4 chairs. We will be back!!

Property was in a good location, but this unit sits closest to the road with very loud music playing from about noon until midnight. We enjoyed those bars/eateries, but Was difficult to WFH on the patio in the afternoon or sleep before 12 am. Clean, but no extras like toiletries or condiments, dish soap or even a sponge.

Everything couldn’t have gone any smoother from checkin to checkout. We had one small issue with a shower head that was fixed the very same day.
The only suggestion would be to add Wi-Fi capability to at least one TV for renters to access streaming. A simple Roku would do the trick.
Location within Crescent Beach is perfect, and direct access to beach was a dream.

This is probably my 5th or 6th stay over the course of several years and place never disappoints. The staff is courteous and the accommodations are great. I couldn’t ask for a better place to stay.
