House Of The Sun #311GV

This was our first time at House of the Sun and hope it won’t be our last. The unit was exceptionally clean and everything worked beautifully. The front office was so kind and helpful with recommendations and such. We loved the various places we could comfortably sit whether it be by the pool, on one of the decks, by the grills, or even if you wanted to catch the game. We were surprised the unit did not come with dish soap or a sponge. Even when we stay at hotels those are provided. The other surprise was the rule about chairs... it was interesting that the unit sleeps 6 but we were only guaranteed two chairs, perhaps the wording needs to be changed as our party of four did not have difficulty accessing the extra chairs.
We loved the location near Crescent Beach grocery. We had rented a car from the airport, got our groceries, and in the morning I returned the car and had a nice walk back to House of the Sun. We never wished for the car again all week! We also loved how close the trolley stop is to House of the Sun! Shout out to how friendly the maintenance staff was also! The gentleman cleaning the pool deck each morning was so nice!

Last recommendation- please only allow Sammy’s to put up umbrellas. One day someone put up an umbrella essentially on top of where we were (and for 3 hours never sat under). I’ve never been that close to an umbrella on a packed public beach!

We had a fabulous stay at House of The Sun. The room was very nice, and updated. We appreciate how they replaced the window's to keep the noice down from accross the street.

Unit was very clean, spacious we had trouble with A/C for 1 full day but then it was fixed.

So great, trying to plan a trip for next 2024!

The unit is freshly updated and has a welcoming modern beachy vibe. While we were visiting we had new window treatments installed and a new fridge arrive so we had to wait on these installers/delivery people which wasn’t ideal during our vacation. The new fridge does not have an ice maker so that was an issue. The dryer in this unit does not dry - so we had to leave our beach towels outside to dry. The double bed in the guest bedroom needs a new mattress. This unit is in an ideal location in the building. We have already booked for next year but we are trying out another unit. Would absolutely stay in this unit again, it was functional and well maintained overall. To HOTS Properly Mngt - maybe it’s time to ban smoking around the pool area???

We had a great vacation the week of 3/4/23. The red tide at the beginning of the week was a little challenging but they worked to keep the beach clean for us. Our accommodations were really nice and we enjoyed our time there.

I absolutely love House of the sun. Have been staying there for 20 years and have always had the perfect 7 to 14 days every time.

Condo had everything you need for a great vacation even a pickleball court.

House of the Sun was wonderful vacation for us! The location and amenities were amazing and we have already booked for next year!!!

The condo was a nice size for our group of 4 adults. The seating in the living room is comfortable although we miss the chaise lounge that has been replaced by an uncomfortable chair. The kitchen is adequate as are the beds. My sister said the double in the 2nd br is too hard. The only thing we didn't like was the extra charge for the extra car-- there were plenty of empty guest spots.

We enjoyed everything about the property. The condo was very clean, well appointed and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was right on the beach where we spent most of our time. We will go back again.

We loved our condo on the beach! It's a very lovely place, clearly updated and clean, and you can't beat the proximity to the beach! We stayed over the New Year holiday and sat on the balcony New Year's Eve and watched the fireworks on the beach, primo view!The only thing I'd suggest is that the owner get new cookware, as the non-stick is starting to chip.Otherwise, we would stay here again. The secure entry to the building made us feel safe and we had our own parking spot in the covered garage.Thanks very much, Gary!Suzanne & Charlie

We loved this place. My husband will never be satisfied with anything less than this ever again. He even wanted to buy the place, it really was spectacular!

Very comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. Restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Had a wonderful time!

Wonderful updated condo, great overall with comfortable beds, and very clean. Beach is only a few yards away with plenty of chairs. We would highly recommend this property.
