Very spacious with a nice view

Perfect location on Crescent beach with a view of the ocean from the balcony. Condo newly renovated. Highly recommend. Will return next year.

We had stayed at different condos at the House of the Sun for years prior to moving to Sarasota in 2012. We recently moved to South Carolina so we decided to re-start our annual week-long visit again. We've always enjoyed staying at the House of the Sun and it was a pleasure to do it once again. We were told the carpeting in the unit we stayed in this time would be replaced soon after we left and it was due but everything else was wonderful.

Unit 313 - the carpet was badly in need of a professional cleaning - many spots. Several of the bedroom outlets did not grip the inserted plugs and need to be replaced. The kitchen faucet has an annoying drip problem. The US flag at the front of the building was frayed and should be replaced. The shrubbery is trimmed too close and too often. Many shrubbs should be replaced.

Great location, great amenities, it was perfect for our family. Already looking forward to coming back next year.

The property is clean and the staff is professional and organized. The other guests are very friendly. The pool is isn't large but there were always plenty of chairs and it was heated and clean. Unit 313 has a view of the ocean and a nice balcony. The bed and furnishings are comfortable and clean. The master bedroom has an updated walk-in shower. The only comment is that the rug needs to be replaced. It did not bother us and the manager said there are plans to replace it soon. I would recommend this rental. We rebooked for next year.

Overpriced for condition of room. Laundry room door fell on us twice.Dishwasher does not work too well. Bad smell in AC vent in kitchen and master bath. Loose towel bar in master bath. Great location and service but needs updates

It was very quite and just wonderful.

Being directly on the beach with pool, as well to cool off made the ideal accommodation.
The carpet needs replaced and main bath shower door. All in all very satisfied.

Great place to stay

Had a nice relaxing week vacation on a beautiful beach and excellent resort.

This condo is in a great location. We were right in the middle of the complex close to the elevator. It took just a minute to get to the soft white sandy beach. Restaurants are within walking distant. The condo was neat and clean. The bed was was really comfy. My favorite part though was sitting on the balcony within view of the ocean. We had a few noise issues (construction on the building next door and a child running constantly above us) but there wasn't really anything the condo people could do. They did talk to the people above us and the child at least waited until 8am to run around. Even with the noises though it was a great place to stay. I would stay there again anytime.

House of Sun is a perfect location. The unit that we had. #313 is up front and has a good view of the gulf. However they are building a new condo next door and the construction noise from 7 am to 4 pm was intolerable. Loud and obnoxious.
The unit itself was very nice. Some upgrades in kitchen and bath. Furniture was nice. However the carpet needs to go. Stains in the
Living room and the carpet is matted.
The beach was great and loved the provided beach chairs. Upper deck was great to watch the sunset.
Everything was nice and clean.

Unit # 313 was great except for the TV's in the rooms. Please they could not be smaller. 37" Smart TV's now cost around $300. Please upgrade.

I have been going to Siesta Key since 1986, but this was the first time I stayed at House of the Sun. I have nothing but positive things to say about the place. They were very accomodating and made sure that I did not have to worry about anything except having a good time

This is a great place to stay. Very clean and well kept up, the staff and Management team are friendly. This was my fourth year staying here and I think it’s the best location on the key.

Great location for restaurants and some night life for the parents. Loved the beach and how close the beach was to the condo. Lots of loungers and beach chairs. The condo was clean. They didn’t supply beach towels. That was disappointing. We would stay here again.

Great staff, clean room, beaches were awesome!
