Great week at the beach!

Our stay was wonderful and highly suggest to those wishing to visit Siesta to stay here. All the right stuff.

GREAT!!!

Fourth trip to HotS, first time in this unit (314). Excellent views. Clean, newer appliances. Round glass (scratched) dining table was a minor negative. Lacking in pillow quality and extra blankets, and could use a recliner (or ottoman) in the main room. Overall, the HotS property is excellent, familiar and comfortable, in a great location.

We have stayed in various units prior to 5his and have never been disappointed. This time however was different. While the pool and beach were great as usual, we were disappointed with the condition of the rental unit. There were problems with the appliances, the tv in the bedroom and part of the trim in the kitchen was missing. When we said something to the people in the office, they said that the unit was set to be updated in November. Knowing this, they should never charge full rate for something that was not up to par.

Everything was good except the the dishes and dish towels where nasty

We had a great experience at HOS. The condo was spotless. The access to the beach and amenities can’t be beat! Being across the street from restaurants and Trolly stop means the location can’t be beat.

Wonderful and relaxing family vacation

Unit 314 was wonderful. The view of the ocean was fantastic-lovely to watch sunsets from our patio and have breakfast outside. The unit itself was clean, had good mattresses, and stocked with everything needed. Would highly recommended.

The House of the Sun location was perfect. It had a beautiful stretch of beach. Our kids played pickleball daily on the tennis courts. There were plenty of restaurants, bars, etc right across the street the the "village" was a short trolley ride away.

The only negative was that I received a not so nice phone call from the front desk (Justin) accusing our unit of "digging holes" on the beach and not re-filling them which we did not do. They should have checked that our unit had not even arrived when the incident happened before making an false accusation.

Unit 314 needs updating. We have chosen not to rebook this unit. Closet door in twin bed room falls on you if you try and open. Carpet is dirty. Toilets need updating in a major way.
HOS is excellent overall. I’ve left basically the same review of 314 for 4 years and nothing changes.

This year I had 4 overseas holiday , Firstly Tenerife in one of the top hotels on the island, then 4 weeks in Australia most of the holiday on the beach at Noosa then on to next trip was 2 weeks in San Diego California.However I kept the best to the last,The House of the Sun.. I have been a regular customer for at least 15 years visiting from why do I choose The House of the Sun? The apartments are compact but comfortable,the staff very welcoming and I think that the complex is secure.The beach is beautiful and the weather is usually excellent.The improvement this year was the provision of the waterfront loungers provided by the surprise,I have booked for 2023

Had an awesome stay. Unit 314GV was equipped with everything we needed.

With 4 senior guest and 2 with total knee replacements it would have been nice for 4 chaise. Lounge chairs!! Plus an increase of $2000 fir next year sure seems like a hefty hike!! After 18 years coming to zHouse if the Sun it is disappointing! Someone must agree??

House of Sun has it all. Location like no other! Always clean and accommodating. Have been staying in same unit for years, 314GV.. The mattresses and pillows need to be replaced in a major way.

loved the condo

Beautiful view from this unit. Property grounds are well maintained. Management is receptive to requests in a prompt manner. Beach was outstanding. Disappointed though in the canopies put up by other guests allowed on the property that took over the whole beach front of property.

We had a wonderful time. Property and condo were very clean. All amentities were available in the condo.

I have stayed at the House of the Sun in many different units. This unit has a nice view and is decorated well. Better than the photos online. It was a great stay as usual. Just know that you will need to bring anything required in a kitchen, like dish soap, foil, napkins, salt, pepper etc. The unit does not come with any of these basic items. I noticed someone everyday making sure things around the complex were tidy.

We enjoyed our time at House of the Sun! Our condo had a fabulous view and was very comfortable! We love Siesta and come often. It was our first time staying at the House of the Sun, but it won’t be our last! We loved the condo and it’s location!
