House Of The Sun #411GV

Our stay in Unit 411 was good. The wifi was not stable. Only reason for the 4 stars in overall rating.

Wonderful stay. Lovely apartament! Right on the beach. Close to great restaurants. Perfect Vacation

The unit was nice but the issues were at the beach! Relaxing on the beach was an issue! Too many beach rules!I understand limiting chairs but very confusing on chair beach placement! Not good! No front row, no waters edge, wrong color of chairs! Watched several families being relocated or switching chair colors! Not a good beach vibe!

We have stayed here many times and have enjoyed it every time. One small issue this time was the specific unit we stayed in. Although beautifully decorated, the kitchen was not well stocked. We tend to cook in a lot while there (so we can enjoy the beautiful views in the evening) so we appreciate a fully stocked kitchen

Loved our stay at House of the Sun. The location of the property on Siesta Key is perfect. The property is run super well - from cleaning crew, to maintenance, to people on the beach. Everything is clean and well maintained. Note: the units' condition vary because they are owned by different owners. The one we stayed in, was newly renovated so it was beautifully designed and in great condition. All in all, will probably come back.

This was one of our favorite places to stay EVER! The condo is newly renovated and is beautiful! It’s spacious and comfortable with a large balcony and a great view of the ocean. The location is amazing...the beach is your backyard and a walk across the street takes you to restaurants and shops. The trolley to take you to the Village of Siesta Key comes by every half hour. We booked again for next year!

We were very happy with our entire experience. Everyone was super nice! The condo was well maintained, it would have been nice to have a large frying pan, and the dryer wouldn’t dry our clothes. Otherwise it was perfect!

I’ve been going to HOS since 1977 & the past couple of years I have been disappointed. The property itself has been impeccably maintained, however, the individually owned condos are NOT keeping up! Dirty& stained carpet, drains that are backed up, drapes that are broken, mismatched furniture & key fobs that don’t work. This year I stayed in #411, last year we stayed in #414 and I wouldn’t rent earthier again until the owners stepped up & modernize, give a good deep clean & replace furniture, broken lamps, outdated chandeliers, etc.

We have been vacationing at House of the Sun for 30+ years and have never been disappointed. This year was another time of wonderful memories at House of the Sun. Unit was perfect. Would be nice for units to have a trial size shampoo

Great location. Condo is right on the beach and across the street to many restaurants and bars. Would definitely recommend this area to stay. Siesta key beach sand in like powder. The unit was very clean and there's a nice view of the beach from the balcony.

We have stayed at the House of the Sun many many times. We love the area and Mgmt is wonderful. This unit was horrible, in desperate need of updating. Appliances rusty inside and out, cabinets that won't stay closed, microwave so small one can hardly put a plate inside. All kitchen furnishings horrible! Warped pots that won't stay flush to the burner. Pealing grass cloth wallpaper down the hallway. 1970s gold tile in the hall bath with torn & pealing wallpaper. The master bath with its black wallpaper and cracked tiles in the shower. Brown stains on the blue recliner in the living room.Water leak marks on the ceiling in master bath and living room. To think I paid the same price for this unit as I would for others with all the comforts and beautiful updates angers me.The Board should hold owners like this accountable and make them repair their units or charge less for staying there. The property is beautiful and constantly cleaned and improved.Will stay here again but NEVER in unit 411gv
